San Jose, CA Based Auction Company

Absolute Auction: All properties are sold to the highest bidder; the seller has no reserve or minimum prices. All abandoned property auctions are absolute auctions.

In June 2004, Mike Vendetti, long-time National Auctioneers Association member and member of the board of directors for the California State Auctioneers Association, decided to place all his concentration on his fast growing car auction business. This meant he had to find someone to take over his other auctions.

The timing was right for T.C. “Nick” Barriger to start his own auction company. Still associated with Vendetti’s A1 Auction Service, and sharing the mailing list they spent years building, Barriger created Absolute Auction Co. – specializing in business liquidations and abandoned property auctions.

Barriger had worked with Mike Vendetti for about eight years by June 2004, first at The Auction Center, and then at A1 Auction Service; managing auctions and calling bids for all types of auctions including business liquidations, estate, consignment, cars, and abandoned property.
