Vacation Rental WordPress Theme By Templatic
Templatic has come out with a new Vacation Rental WordPress theme. You can get a live preview of it here.
From what I can tell it looks pretty good, especially if you customize it a bit.They also allow you to register on the site and you are able to log into the theme back-end and play with all the features and setup a website to see how you like it. I wish more people would do this!

I just read the terms briefly but it appears I can give away this theme to my paying customers. So I may buy this and if you list your rental on VRW, I could set you up with a theme for free.
What I don’ t like:
1. No ability to put in extra fees like:
- How much for lodging
- how much for the deposit
- how much for tax
- pet fees and pet deposits
- how much for cleaning
- occupency tax
- VAT
- options – like ski tickets, flowers, drinks, special sheets, etc.
2. The booking engine charges by number of people. It would be really great if they had different rates based on things like:
- a 1 night rate; an extra night rate based on each of those
- a 2 night or weekend rate; an extra night rate based on each of those
- a 7 night rate; an extra night rate based on each of those
- a 30 day rate; an extra night rate based on each of those
- Holiday rates
- seasonal rates…
If they fixed those two things this would be a really great theme out of the box. The cool thing is you don’t have to use their booking engine. There are some other really good plugins that you can use as a booking engine, so I see no reason not to use this theme. 🙂
