Rental Policies

Rates are for Four Guests. Each Additional Guest is charge of $20/Day, $100/Week. Maximum Eight People.
No Pets Allowed. Bring own towels, soap, linens, and paper goods. Beds included, but not bedding. Bring your own blankets.
Weeks run Sunday - Saturday, except during holidays - please call for details and to schedule your holiday week 262-402-8587.
There are no refunds or reduced pricing for early departures. Check in at 3pm. Check out 11am.
Cancellations must be made 72 hours in advance for full refund. If within 72 hour timeframe, we will retain the first night's charge.
All cancellations are subject to a $20 cancellation administrative fee. No smoking. Payment in full is due when securing reservation.
Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are accepted forms of payment.
Rates include use of cabin, appliances, kitchen, beds, grounds, amenities, and pier. Garage and shed are not included.

Snowmobile trails are routed through an incredible wilderness of forest, over half a million acres, connecting you with twelve Vilas County Communities. Ride over 600 miles of expertly-groomed trails.

Want to try another adventure? Cross-country ski dozens of outstanding trails. Snowshoe through pristine wilderness areas. Ice-fish for walleye, pike, and panfish on one of more than 1300 lakes. Vilas County is home to one of the largest concentrations of freshwater lakes on the entire planet. Enjoy festivals, tournaments, and trail rides like no other.

Staying in summertime? There is no shortage of adventure during the summer months. Towering pines and hardwood forests are interspersed with hundreds of crystal clear lakes and streams for your enjoyment. Here in the Northwoods of Wisoconsin, the Nicolet National Forest offers you an incredible variety of year-round recreation.

Four seasons of recreation await you... from spring fishing or canoeing to summer camping, hiking, mountain or horse back riding. Come in autumn for hunting or to view the famous fall colors. There are 3600 miles of scenic rural roads that make for fantastic day driving trips. Snow season gears up with cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. Come anytime to get close to nature in a tranquil and secluded spot. Opportunities for exhilarating views, relaxation, and quiet nature are here in the Great Northwoods.

Anglers can expect to find a large variety of fish including trout, pike, bass, muskellunge, walleye, and panfish. The Nicolet is 62 miles long, north to south, and 36 1/2 miles wide. There are 1,170 lakes and over 400 spring ponds. The lakes have 34,000 surface acres of water and 500 miles of shoreline. Fresh water streams have a total length of 400 miles, including 580 miles of trout streams. There are 40 miles of white water canoeing rivers, of which 40 miles are state protected "wild rivers." Sixty-eight species of fish live in these waters.

Wildlife watchers, as well as hunters, enjoy the Forest's abundant wildlife. The Forest is home to bald eagles, loons, deer, bear, grouse, waterfowl, and many species of songbirds and small mammals, including the American Sables and the Fisher. Birdwatchers can see over 320 species of birds. The Northwoods is home to 36 pairs of nesting ospreys and about 30 pairs of nesting bald eagles. There are 961 different plant species.

Over 800 miles of trails are open to the public for activities such as hiking, mountain biking, cross country skiing, horseback riding, snowmobiling, and even dog sledding. Snowmobile trails cover 450 miles. Groomed cross county ski trails are 120 miles long. Hiking trails total 65 miles. Snowmobile use is permitted on designated trails and unplowed National Forest roads when snow cover is at least four inches.
